Details
With great diversity of habitat, this recreational parcel can be yours just in time for next deer season! The Cypress Branch Tract (#03019-03437) is a ±40 acre tract of timberland (per tax assessor records) located in eastern Nevada County, Arkansas, about 7 miles east Rosston, AR (North 33.608098°, West 93.156557°). The property shares a common border with a +/- 200 acre parcel maintained by Poison Springs State Forest / Wildlife Management Area, which provides for additional hunting acreage to the public. Best access is available to a gate on the northeast corner of the property via a woodsroad running west of Nevada Road #46 for about three-quarters of a mile. The northern edge of the property contains almost 5 acres of approximately 10 year old planted pine. This upland pine stand is fragmented by a wildlife opening with multiple shooting lanes. The center of the tract is bisected by a creek system aptly known as "Cypress Branch", which created a sizeable wetland stocked with Cypress. The remaining 18 acres of the property feature merchantable hardwood that were inventoried. According the USDA NRCS web soil survey, the property is predominately based upon Guyton silt loam.
