Recreational Data

The warm water fishery of Mattaseunk Lake is a fantastic fishery.  Smallmouth bass, pickerel and occasionally some large brook trout are caught by enthusiastic anglers plying the waters of Mattaseunk Lake.   Wyman Stream and Carleton Brook empty into the lake.  Working along the shores of these two trout streams present excellent spring trout fishing opportunities.  The woods around the lake shore are home to deer, grouse, moose and more.  Designated ATV trails and ITS snowmobile trails are available for recreational vehicle enthusiasts.

Water and Land Features

Mattaseunk Lake is 576+- acres of warm water fishery.  The shoreline varies from gravel and rock to some weedy areas.  The wooded shoreline is somewhat developed with seasonal cottages that can be seen amongst the tree covered shoreline.  There are gravel roads on both sides of the lake providing easy access to the vast working forest found in this area.
